A joint Russian-Indian production enterprise may appear in the Russian Federation
Indian and Russian companies may set up a joint venture to manufacture cars in Russia, according to the Ajay Sahai, director of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), established by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of India.
Recall that at the moment only one company's product is represented in Russia – this is Maruti Suzuki (a joint Indian-Japanese company). Suzuki Jimmy and Suzuki Vitara models (both assembled in India) are entering the Russian market under the parallel import scheme.
