A driver fatigue monitoring system will be introduced into the new Atom
The new Russian Atom city car will receive a driver fatigue monitoring system, according to the brand's press service.
Condition of the Atom's driver is monitored using an infrared camera with independent illumination, which is integrated into the front pillar of the electric car.
As previously reported, the start of accepting orders for the new model is scheduled for February this year. The first pre-production sample of the electric car was assembled in November 2025. These samples are necessary for testing the entire chain of the production process in serial mode.
