88 NEFAZ-5299 buses have been shipped to the Bashkortostan Republic

On August 28, 2024, KAMAZ handed over 88 NEFAZ-5299-30-57 CNG buses to the Bashkortostan Republic. After carrying out all the necessary procedures, passenger vehicles will enter the routes.

Restyled NEFAZ-5299-30-57 urban buses fully comply with the requirements of the accessible environment. The total capacity is 94 people with 29 seats, there is a folding ramp and a wheelchair attachment point. NEFAZ 5299-30-57 is equipped with a 205 kW gas engine, 6-speed automatic gear box, and an independent front suspension that ensures smooth running. All buses transferred to Ufa have video recorders, video cameras in the cabin, route indicators, monitors for the driver, on-board computers, USB chargers, and tachographs. In addition, 80 buses are equipped with air conditioners.

The Republic is actively updating its urban passenger transport park, regularly purchasing buses manufactured by NEFAZ PTС, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan. Since 2020, over 300 new NEFAZ buses running on natural gas have entered the routes of the region.
