KAMAZ PTC will deliver a large batch of the latest generation A5 electric buses to the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans, the main operator of urban land transport in the capital and the largest in Russia.

Under the terms of the signed contract, KAMAZ will supply 400 KAMAZ-52222 electric buses of the latest generation to the Moscow carrier. As in previous years, the document provides for the maintenance and repair of the supplied vehicles by the manufacturer over the next 15 years. The passenger capacity of the electric bus is 85 people, seating capacity is 35, and there is also one seat for a passenger with disabilities. Mass production of fifth-generation KAMAZ-52222 electric buses started in 2025.
