200 Valdai 45 tractor units have been shipped to Novorosmetal

The Modern Transport Technologies company has completed the transfer of two hundred Valdai 45 tractor units for Novorosmetal.  The company's fleet was updated with the support of the Techtransleasing company. A batch of new tractor units will be sent to work on the routes of the North Caucasus, Southern, Central and Volga Federal Districts. Vehicles will be used for long-haul transportation and will strengthen the logistics infrastructure of Novorosmetal.

Valdai 45 is designed for long-distance cargo transportation as part of a road train weighing up to 45 tons. Two fuel tanks with a total capacity of 840 liters provide a range of up to 3,000 km without additional refueling. The total weight of the tractor unit is 18 tons. The front axle has a load capacity of 7 tons, the permissible load on the rear axle is 13 tons. The seat height is 1,150 mm.

The cabin space is optimally organized for multi-day routes: an internal height of 190 cm, two berths, a comfortable sprung driver's seat with a large number of adjustments, climate control, a refrigerator and a large number of places for storing personal belongings. The power plant includes 470-HP diesel engine with 2,200 Nm of torque coupled with 12-speed automatic gear box.
