20 KAMAZ-54901 tractor units rolled off the assembly line 

20 KAMAZ-54901 Hi-tech tractor units rolled off the main assembly line of the automobile plant, and 15 more such trucks are scheduled for production in December. KAMAZ-54901 tractor units in the maximum configuration have been sold to Russian and foreign customers, and 10 more units are planned to be exported by the end of the year.

Exterior of the new KAMAZ-54901 version is complemented by fairings mounted on the cabin and the chassis, which improves aerodynamics and reduces fuel consumption from 5 to 10%. At the same time, the vehicle's interior has changed significantly: a more powerful engine has been used, and driver comfort and safety have been improved.

The novelty features 13-liter KAMAZ R6 910 engine capacity of 560 HP, with an increased torque of 2,600 Nm, which reduces fuel consumption during acceleration and driving at a constant speed. For comparison, the basic version of KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is equipped with 483-HP engine. In addition, the new version of the tractor unit received 12-speed robotized gear box with a retarder, a hydraulic retarder brake, which increases the service life of braking mechanisms.
