Yandex plans to launch an electric car on the market under its own brand
Yandex is preparing to launch a taxi car on the market, Autonews reports with reference to Vedomosti. According to sources, the model will be named UMO 5, which was patented last month.
The novelty is based on GAC Aion Y Plus: the Russian version will actually be its localized re-release under own brand. The original Chinese version is equipped with an electric unit capacity of 204 HP, coupled with front-wheel drive. The range varies from 300 to 430 km.
The release date of the model is still unknown.
