Volgabus buses contributed to the growth of passenger traffic in Ulan-Ude in 2022
With the release of additional buses the number of appeals from residents of remote areas, serviced by new "Volgabasus" buses was halved in Ulan-Ude. Due to the renewal of the Ulan-Ude fleet, passenger traffic on urban routes increased by 600 thousand people in 2022.
According to the Ministry of Transport of the Buryatia Republic, passenger traffic on urban routes in 2022 amounted to 4.6 million people, in 2021 — 4 million people.
It is known that the capacity of the new Volgabus bus is 111 passengers. The model is also equipped with six heaters, air conditioner and USB sockets for charging mobile devices.
