The URAL Automobile Plant is participating in Russia's largest special purpose commercial vehicle exhibition, COMTRANS 2026, which opened today at the Kazan Expo IEC. For the first time, the plant is introducing four new vehicle models at once, all designed for the Russian market.

The commercial vehicle exhibition features Ural 80 dropside vehicle with a fundamentally new model of the light three-ton crane manipulator, PALFINGER INMAN IT 90N. This compact, all-wheel-drive vehicle is designed for cargo transportation, loading/unloading operations, construction and installation work, and emergency recovery operations, including in off-road conditions.

The second exhibit is an off-road dropside vehicle equipped with a cable-type PALFINGER INMAN IT-200 crane manipulator unit. This design facilitates vertical lifting and lowering of loads, for example, during power line pole installation.

The third special purpose vehicle model presented is a crane-boring vehicle that combines functions of crane and drilling equipment. It was developed and manufactured by the Mega Drive plant.

An agricultural dumper featuring an all-metal dump platform with an "Almaz"-type profile completes the model line-up. Designed for transporting various agricultural goods, it offers three-sided unloading capability (unloading angle up to 45°). As part of a road train with a trailer, its payload capacity reaches up to 33.5 tons, with a volume of up to 50.5 m³.
