UAZ will build a pressing line for stamping parts
Work continues on the installation of a new modern pressing line at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant site, on which parts for pickups and the future Sollers SUV will be stamped, and in the future for the UAZ model range, Avtonovosti Dnya reports with reference to the Telegram channel of UAZ Segodnya enterprise.
The new presses will be controlled by a single operator, and 6 modern robots will do all the work on the automated line. The planned production capacity on this line will be up to 20,000 body kits per year.
The total investment into the project amounted to 1.1 billion rubles, of which 0.8 billion rubles were attracted in the form of a loan from the Industrial Development Fund.
