UAZ Hunter with electric engine will enter the European market

The Czech MW Motors developed two versions based on UAZ Hunter SUV. Both versions will be assembled in the Czech Republic at MW Motors' facilities.
Changes will concern the technical part of the model. The electric car will retain its recognizable exterior. Now the electric engine for UAZ Hunter is undergoing final tests. Moreover, the SUV will be equipped with a battery pack capacity from 56 to 90 kW/h.
Production of UAZ Hunter SUVs with petrol and electric power plants for the UK at the end of certification tests is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2020, respectively. The launch of the version EV for the rest of Europe is expected at the end of the year.
