UAZ has announced a large-scale engine modernization
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) is carrying out a large-scale modernization of power units. Many innovations are scheduled to be introduced in 2025, Autonews reports with reference to the brand's press service.
A new diesel engine paired with 6-speed automatic gear box will appear in the line-up of units. Moreover, 2.7-liter power engine is being optimized, to which it is also planned to aggregate 6-speed manual gear box.
UAZ is currently conducting bench tests of an upgraded 2.7-liter petrol engine.
