UAZ Bukhanka received an updated engine
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has begun to equip vehicles of SGR family (Bukhanka) with engines with an increased torque index.
The new engine corresponds to Euro-5 emission standard and has ZMZ-409-055 index. Its capacity has remained unchanged and amounts to 112.2 HP, while the torque index has been increased from 199 to 213 Nm at 2,700 rpm.
It is assumed that increasing the torque will help the driver to shift gears less often – especially on a loaded vehicle.

AVTOVAZ JSC starts assembling commercial and passenger vehicles under the SKM brand. The first model will be M7, which will be available in two versions: an all-metal van and a cargo and passenger minivan. One of the largest FTL transport companies, "Technology of Movement", has successfully conducted the trial operation of KAMAZ-54901 vehicle.
The latest K5 generation KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit was operated in the fleet of the transport company for a month. The vehicle was used to deliver dairy products from Moscow to Rubtsovsk (of the Altai region). During the trial operation, the vehicle has traveled almost 30 thousand km.
