Truck sales in Russia exceeded 1 trillion rubles in money terms

In 2019 the new truck market capacity amounted to 497.8 billion rubles (+6.2%). Weighted average prices for new trucks grew by 8.2% on 2018 to 6 218 666 rubles. 

In 2019 558.1 billion rubles were received from used truck sale in the Russian market – by 8.6% more than in 2018. Weighted average prices for used trucks grew by 6.9% year-on-year to 2 093 453 rubles.

For the reporting period the best financial result belonged to KAMAZ. Dealers of the brand sold new trucks on 151.0 billion rubles. It was followed by SCANIA, vehicle sales of which in money terms amounted to 58.4 billion rubles. VOLVO also entered top three with a financial result of 57.6 billion rubles.

In 2019 KAMAZ became the leader by financial results. For the reporting period 156.0 billion rubles were spent on the purchase of used trucks of this brand – by 20.0% more than in the previous year. SCANIA (52.2 billion rubles) and VOLVO (46.1 billion rubles) also entered the top three by the market capacity.
