A logistics company located in Naberezhnye Chelny, TRANSCOMPANY LLC, has purchased ten KAMAZ-54901 K5 generation tractor units after successful test trials.

It should be noted that the purchase was preceded by the trial operation of KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit: the carrier tested the vehicle for a month.

KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is equipped with a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 (Euro-5) engine displacement of 13 liters, capacity of 482 HP and a torque of 2,403 Nm. The use of modern high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. Moreover, KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is equipped with a low noise and highly efficient 12-speed robotized gear box, which reduced fuel consumption.
