Trailer sales increased by 0.3% in November

According to Russian Automotive Market Research, in January-November 2020 sales of new trailers and semi-trailers1 amounted to 27.59 thousand units, which was a 3.3% decline on the result of January-November 2019.

In November 2020, new trailer sales grew by 0.3% on November 2019 and amounted to 3.10 thousand units.

In November 2020 sales of the market leader SCHMITZ increased by 16.7% and amounted to 0.56 thousand units.

It was followed by KRONE trailers, sales of which in November increased by 3.2% to 0.32 thousand units. The third place was taken by TONAR, which sold 0.30 thousand trailers (the largest increase +57.9% year-on-year).

In addition, NEFAZ, GRUNWALD and SESPEL were among TOP-10 brands to increase sales.

Decrease in sales compared to November 2019 was shown by KAESSBOHRER, KOGEL, TSP and NOVOSIBARZ.

The rating of regional markets in November 2020 was headed by the Republic of Tatarstan, in which new trailer sales increased by 72.7%. TOP-3 regional markets also included the Moscow region and Moscow.

Most of the TOP-20 regional markets showed positive sales dynamics. New trailer sales in Moscow, Belgorod, Samara and Tomsk regions grew by at least 40%.
