Toyota Hilux and Sequoia have been patented for the Russian Federation
The Japanese Toyota has retained the rights to the names of two well-known models in Russia. Hilux and Sequoia trademarks have been registered in Rospatent.
This means that Toyota retains the rights to use names for cars, parts, components, and various automotive equipment. The validity period of the exclusive rights has been extended until March 2035 and November 2034, respectively.
Recall that the right to use names does not mean the brand return to the Russian market.
