Toyota and GM plants are scheduled to be restarted in Saint Petersburg in 2026

It is planned to restart activities of two large automobile plants in the Northern Capital in 2026 – the former production sites of Toyota and General Motors companies. The enterprises are preparing to resume production of cars, but exact information on the topic is not yet available.

The plant's management is currently negotiating with foreign partners to launch new car models. Options are being considered for the resumption of production of upgraded versions of already well-known cars, as well as localization of production, taking into account new developments.
