The engine by Tutaev Motor Plant PTC, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl region, has been used in the production of the new BELAZ-75855 load-haul-dump vehicle, developed specifically for complex mining operations.
The line-up of underground mining vehicles has been expanded with the new BELAZ-75855 load-haul-dump vehicle, developed specifically for complex mining operations. A 45-ton mining dumper is equipped with 8523.10-01 engine manufactured by the Tutaev Motor Plant.
The vehicle was designed for a specific request in close cooperation with Russian partners from the mining and metallurgical company Nornickel, who are interested in the supply of reliable underground mining vehicles independent of import.
BELAZ-75855 load-haul-dump vehicle is equipped with TMP four-stroke diesel engine with cast-iron cylinder heads and electronic control – a reliable and powerful unit developed with consideration for the specific requirements for underground transport. The 17.2-liter displacement and 405 kW (550 HP) engine capacity, combined with a spacious 24.2 m3 dump body, ensure high productivity of the dumper.
