

The machine population of the Tutaev Motor Plant, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl region, has been replenished with new equipment. The mechanical assembly shop received two software controlled turning machining centers.
The new equipment was purchased within the framework of the "Development of V8 engine production capacities at TMP" and "Production of automotive gear winches" projects. In January, an automatic complex for stripping castings in the iron foundry was put into operation. In February, the site of machining centers of the engine and gearbox parts workshop was replenished with two new turning machining centers, which can perform not only turning operations, but also milling and drilling ones.
In addition, it is planned to purchase a complex for manufacturing rods for casting a cylinder block with a production volume of at least 6 thousand sets of rods per year, including a rod machine and peripheral equipment with technological tools. The existing equipment is to be also upgraded – quenching furnaces, automatic lines, a complex of heat exchange equipment of test benches, a complex of networks and equipment.
