

The Tutaev Motor Plant, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl region, has approved a quality program for 2025. The program purpose is to improve the quality management system (QMS), focused on meeting customer requirements, as well as ensuring the company's competitive advantages in the foreign and Russian markets by improving the quality of its products.
In June, the plant will undergo an inspection audit of the quality management system for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001 and GOST RV 0015-002. During preparation for the audit in May, an extraordinary internal check of the plant's divisions readiness was organized. Tractor modifications of the Tutaev Motor Plant engines will receive certificates for product compliance with the requirements of TR CU 031/2012 "On the safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and trailers to them."
In August, work will begin on preparation of documents for obtaining a certificate, which will enable the plant to perform the following types of work in accordance with the Rules of the Russian Classification Society (RCS): manufacture of marine internal combustion engines and spare parts for them according to the documentation agreed with the RCS; development of technical documentation for manufacture of marine internal combustion engines; repair (including capital repair) of marine internal combustion engines according to the documentation agreed with the RCS.
To improve product quality, engines and component assemblies will undergo periodic tests for compliance with design documentation requirements throughout the year, including 1,000-hour reliability tests for 600-HP engine.
