The 5-seat all-wheel drive Haval H5 frame SUV will enter the Russian market, its sales are scheduled for autumn of 2024, according to the Haval Motor Rus press service.

Haval H5 is built on a common platform with GWM Poer KingKong pickup, which has been available in the Russian market since 2023. With a length of 5,190 mm, the SUV is the largest in the brand's model line-up (wheelbase — 3,140 mm, road clearance — 200 mm).

The model will be offered with petrol turbocharged engine capacity of 200 HP and 380 Nm of torque or with turbocharged diesel 150-HP unit of a similar displacement (400 Nm of torque), both coupled with 8-speed automatic gear box. Fuel consumption in a mixed cycle is 9.8 liters per 100 km for petrol engine and 7.9 liters for diesel engine.

The novelty will be presented in two versions. The cost of SUV equipped with petrol engine in the version Elite starts from 3.7 million rubles, and in the senior version Premium will amount to 4 million rubles.
