The production of snow groomers is planned to be launched in Russia in 2026
Within the framework of the Innoprom-2025 international exhibition, the UMG Group presented the domestic RT-6 snow groomer for the first time, developed and manufactured at the Chelyabinsk Construction and Road Machines (CHSDM) enterprise.
According to the 5koleso portal, RT-6 is a 6.3-ton vehicle used to form smooth and dense snow surfaces, for example, when preparing playgrounds for winter sports or winter roads. The novelty can also be used to transport goods in Arctic conditions or to prepare and maintain the quality of snow cover on airfields and highways.
RT-6 will be equipped with a 6-cylinder 313-HP YaMZ-536 engine, with a fuel tank capacity of 250 liters. The maximum travelling speed reaches 24 km/h, and the milling speed is 16 km/h.
