The version of the new LADA Iskra in the body sedan was presented to the guests of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). It is also known that the model will be produced in station wagon and all-terrain wagon versions with the prefix Cross in the name, Autonews reports.
Lada Iskra will occupy a niche between Vesta and Granta families in the model line-up of the Russian brand. The B-segment car will be based on the CMF-B-LS platform. The exact dates of Iskra's launch into mass production are not yet known.
The novelty will be offered with three different power plants: 1.6-liter 90-HP engine coupled with 5-speed manual gear box, 1.6-liter 106-HP engine with six-speed manual gear box or 106-HP unit with CVT.
