The last Renault cars rolled off the AVTOVAZ assembly line

On May 27, 2022, two Renault Sandero Stepway cars rolled off the AvtoVAZ assembly line in Togliatti. They became the last cars of the French brand that were manufactured by the Volga Automobile Plant.

At the same time, the company questioned the prospects of starting production of models on the Renault platform under the Lada brand caused by a shortage of components – earlier it was reported that the mass production of Lada Duster will be launched in Togliatti in the near future.
