The first Scania methane-powered garbage truck appeared in Russia

Russian Automotive Market Research

The regional operator for solid municipal waste treatment in Udmurtia - LLC «SPETSTAVOTOKHOZYASTVO» («SAH») - purchased Scania R340V6X2*4NA garbage vehicle with gas engine.

The 6x2 garbage truck is equipped with 340-HP methane engine and Zoller MEDIUM XLiB 22.8 m3 superstructure.

The garbage truck will be used in Izhevsk to transport separately collected garbage – dry waste to send it for recycling.
