The diesel version of BAIC BJ40 will appear in Russia
BAIC has announced a new modification of BJ40 SUV for the Russian market — a version equipped with a diesel engine.
The novelty is a frame SUV equipped with 2.0-liter diesel engine capacity of 162 HP. The engine is paired with 8-speed automatic gear box, all-wheel drive, and a transfer case with a downshift and hard locks of the rear and front inter-wheel differentials.
The diesel model will be offered to Russian customers in a single version Exclusive at the price of 4.4 million rubles.

The first mass-produced Russian electric car Atom, will officially go on sale by May 31, 2026.
According to Alfa-Bank documents, the Atom's retail price will be 3,980,000 rubles, with a government subsidy of 925,000 rubles included. This brings the final price for the new car to 3,055,000 rubles.
