The Chinese BYD will make another attempt to enter the Russian market. This may happen as early as 2023 – the intermediary and importer will be the Belarusian SGP, which will be engaged in the mass import of BYD electric cars to Russia.

The exact range for Russians has not yet been disclosed, but the preliminary price list for the Russian market includes eight models, three of which have been already certified and obtained the Vehicle Type Approval – these are Qin Plus sedan, Dolphin hatchback and Song Plus crossover. All their documents should be ready by the end of this year.
