The Atom electric vehicle brand received funding from a Rosatom subsidiary

The company "Renera" (Rosatom subsidiary) invested 6.2 billion rubles in JSC "Kama" (owns the Atom electric vehicle brand), Autonews reports with reference to the Kommersant publication.

The Atom electric vehicle concept was first demonstrated on May 11, 2023. Russian and Italian designers worked on the vehicle exterior. The model dimensions were 3,995 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,615 mm in height.

The technical characteristics of the novelty power unit have not yet been disclosed. It is known that acceleration to 100 km/h will take 7-8 seconds, the maximum speed will be 170 km/h, and the power reserve is 500 km on a single charge. The start of the mass production of the electric vehicle is scheduled for 2025.
