Tenet T8 production started at the former Volkswagen plant near Kaluga
The former Volkswagen plant near Kaluga started assembly of the flagship model of the Tenet brand, T8 crossover, according to the press service of AGR Holding. It is reported that the novelty production has been launched by full cycle – with welding and painting of bodies.
Tenet T8 is based on Chery Tiggo 8 Plus, which was previously unavailable on the Russian market. The model is a three-row crossover, the power unit of which is represented by 2.0-liter 197-HP petrol engine coupled with all-wheel drive.
T8 is the third model to enter the assembly line at the Kaluga plant after its predecessors, T7 and T4 crossovers.
