SETrans service company (part of KAMAZ) has put a new electric bus maintenance station "Presnya" into operation.
This is the twenty-first station of the company opened in the Moscow region. The new site is designed for a design capacity of 100 innovative passenger vehicles. Today, "Presnya" station can provide maintenance for KAMAZ-52222 latest A5 generation electric buses delivered to Moscow in 2026. All of these models are equipped with an advanced charging system. Thus, the standard current charger installed on the electric bus roof has been replaced with current-receiving contact rails, which reduces the cost of equipping all sides with current collectors. Stationary charging masts of ultrafast charging stations are now equipped with pantographs. During charging, the inverted pantograph is lowered at the command of the electric bus driver onto the contact rails installed on the vehicle roof.
