Sales of GAC Aion Y hatchback have started in Russia
Sales of the Chinese GAC Aion Y hatchback have started in Russia. This car was brought by one of the capital dealers under the parallel import scheme. According to Autonews, the model cost in this dealer company is 2.5 million rubles.
The hatchback is based on a front-wheel drive chassis with McPherson struts in front and semi-independent rear suspension. In terms of dimensions, the novelty is comparable to LADA Largus. A large multimedia system display and a digital dashboard are integrated into the cabin. The equipment also includes cruise control, automatic parking function, sunroof, rear view camera and electric front seats.
The power unit of the novelty is represented by 204-HP electric motor. The battery life is 510 km.
