Production of sightseeing buses-"steam locomotives" will be set up at Avtotor 

The Kaliningrad Avtotor Automobile Plant presented prototypes of sightseeing buses with an unusual design for amusement parks. Serial production of such buses is scheduled to be launched this year, Izvestia reports.

One of the buses has 8 seats and is designed as a steam locomotive. It is equipped with an electric motor and a battery, the range on a single charge is about 80-100 km. The bus length is 5,200 mm, the wheelbase is 2,760 mm. The power plant that has a capacity of 10 HP is coupled with rear-wheel drive.

The second model is a 5-door 14-seat bus of larger dimensions compared to the first one – the length reaches 5,650 mm, the wheelbase is 2,740 mm. The powertrain is similar to that of the first model.
