Production of G 2.5 diesel engines started in Nizhny Novgorod

Serial production of G 2.5 diesel engines has begun at the production site in Nizhny Novgorod, according to the press service of STT Group of Companies.

Available in several versions, G 2.5 power plants comply with the Euro-5 emission standard. Their capacity is 149.6 HP. Design differences between the versions lie in the configuration of attachments, the type of crankcase and the torque indicators. The unit in the version G51A is paired with 5-speed gear box, while that in the versions G51B, G51C and G51D - with 6–speed gear box.

Engines marked B are planned to be integrated into Valdai 8 trucks, C modification is designed for Gazelle NN and Sobol NN models, while D option will be installed in Citymax 8 buses.
