Modern processing centers have been installed at NEFAZ PTC, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan, as part of a project aimed to increase production capacity.
The company is currently implementing two large-scale investment projects. One of them is "Development of Production Capacity for the Production of Passenger Buses in PTC NEFAZ up to 3 Thousand Units per Year" project. As part of it, one horizontal and two vertical processing centers appeared in the blank preparation shop.
The horizontal milling processing center is located in the dumper production building, in machine assembly shop No. 6. This is a representative of modern metalworking centers. It is a two-pallet center that uses an improved T-type body, a gantry column and a suspended structure with increased rigidity and high balancing accuracy.
Vertical machining centers are also installed in machine assembly shop No. 6, in the production building for shift vehicles and tankers. They are high-precision equipment with a movable milling column with increased rigidity and an automatic pallet changing system for increasing production efficiency. Three-point support mechanism and reliable fixation of the workpieces make it possible to achieve high machining accuracy. A wide range of parts are manufactured there used in the production of passenger vehicles, such as brackets, base plates, spacers, handrail supports, etc.
