New Hyundai and Skoda trademarks have been patented in the Russian Federation  

The Czech Skoda and the Korean Hyundai have registered their trademarks in Russia, according to FIPS data.

For example, Hyundai has patented the Hyundai Kona trademark, a compact crossover imported into Russia under the parallel import scheme. The application was received directly from Hyundai Motor company located in Korea. The exclusive right to the trademark is valid until summer of 2034, and it can be used to sell cars.

Skoda has registered its updated logotype in Russia. Its copyright holder is Skoda Auto, registered in the Czech city of Mlada Boleslav. Both cars and other goods and services, including scientific and technical ones, can be sold under the Skoda brand in Russia. Trademark right is valid until autumn of 2035.
