NEFAZ celebrates anniversary of Bus Assembly Shop

In March, Bus Assembly Shop No. 23 of NEFAZ PTC, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan, turned 25 years old. It is from here that ready-made NEFAZ buses, trolleybuses and KAMAZ electric buses set off.

According to its main functions, the shop is divided into seven sections: manufacture of electrical harnesses, subassembly of small assemblies, glazing, assembly of promising models, the main assembly line, the finishing and delivery of finished products and the small assembly area.

Today, the productivity of the Bus Assembly Shop is about 1,600 buses and electric buses per year. A total of about 15 models of passenger vehicles are assembled here. From 2001 to 2025, 23,290 buses and 2,462 electric buses were produced in Bus Assembly Shop. In the future, by 2027, it is planned to increase production capacity to 3,000 vehicles per year.
