NAMI received a share in AVTOVAZ from Rostec

Rostec State Corporation withdrew from the shareholders of AVTOVAZ JSC, having transferred its share (32.3%) in the controlling joint venture in favor of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute" (NAMI) subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Now the 100% owner of the company controlling AVTOVAZ is FSUE NAMI.

Until the end of 2021, AVTOVAZ was controlled through the Dutch joint venture Alliance Rostec Auto B.V., co-owned by Rostec (32.3%) and the French Renault (67.7%). At the end of 2021, the controlling joint venture was transferred under the Russian jurisdiction — Lada Auto Holding LLC became the owner of AvtoVAZ, the distribution of shares in which for Rostec and Renault remained unchanged.
