MAZ 305E20 received a status of the Union State commodity. The electric bus is included in the relevant register of industrial products.

According to Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Union State adopted on February 2, 2026, the status of "Union State commodity" can be obtained for products if the level of cooperative component is at least 50% of the total cost of materials of the states parties to the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State in the price of goods, and the percentage share of each of the parties is at least 25%.

The electric bus was developed in close cooperation with the Russian partner GC Itelma. The model implements the concept of a long night charge lasting from 4 to 8 hours and provides a daily mileage comparable to diesel buses, without daytime downtime.
