LADA Niva will become the basis for ambulances

The Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation has developed an all-terrain ambulance based on Lada Niva Legend SUV. The public premiere of the model took place at the Innoprom Forum in Yekaterinburg.
In total, Lada Niva Legend Prima received two versions. The first one is aimed at emergency transportation of patients over short distances and features high maneuverability. The vehicle is also equipped with a capsule option — an inner wall for greater safety of doctors and the patient.
The second version was improved with the off-road wheelbase and features an enlarged interior. Such a vehicle is capable of transporting up to two patients and a team of three doctors. In addition, the model received an upgraded 110 HP engine.
