KIA K9 sedan will enter the Russian market

Russian Automotive Market Research

Kia Russia & CIS informs that the updated flagship Kia K9 sedan has passed all the tests provided for certification in the Russian market and received Vehicle Type Approval.

Now in Russia, Kia K9 will be available only with the most popular V6 3.3 GDI engine and an electronically controlled direct fuel injection system. This decision was taken based on the study of customer demand - customers show a higher interest in this modern engine, and its characteristics are quite sufficient to provide dynamics corresponding to an executive class car. The engine capacity is 249 HP, while its maximum torque is 347 N*m. The engine is paired with 8-speed automatic gear box. The car will be available with all-wheel drive system.

More detailed information about the start date of sales, technical characteristics, versions and prices of the updated Kia K9 for the Russian market will be provided later.
