KGM car sales increased in Russia in August 2025
The Korean KGM automaker, formerly known as SsangYong, is increasing its presence in the Russian market. Thus, 347 new brand cars were sold in August, and 94 more units were sold during the first week of September. Since entering the Russian market, 942 KGM cars have been registered.
Korando compact crossover is the sales leader: it accounts for about 50% of the total sales volume. Prices for this model start from 2.69 million rubles for cars of 2024 year of manufacture and from 2.99 million rubles for models of 2025 year of manufacture. The second most popular car is the mid-size Torres, which accounts for 31% of sales. Its minimum cost is 3.09 million rubles.
