Sergey Kogogin, CEO of KAMAZ PTC, is taking part in the business program of the All-Russian Forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements", which is taking place in Kazan these days. Moreover, a leading Russian engineering company presents the latest automotive equipment and fifth-generation passenger vehicles on the sidelines of the forum.
In particular, the company demonstrates the fifth-generation KAMAZ-52222 electric bus. The fully low-floor cabin is designed to carry 85 people, and 35 seats are provided for seated passengers. The sliding doors open outwards, eliminating the risk of passengers being trapped. The width of the storage area has been increased to 1,380 mm, which corresponds to the requirements of European standards. There is a special area for wheelchair accommodation. The energy consumption of the battery allows to travel at least 100 km.
KAMAZ-4280-F5 Vega medium city bus is also presented at the forum. The bus features a modern exterior and a spacious interior. The rear air suspension makes it possible to operate the vehicle in various Russian conditions.
