KAMAZ presented K5 generation vehicles at the exhibition in Astana

KAMAZ K5 generation vehicles were presented at the Komtrans + BUSexpo Astana exhibition, which takes place on June 25-27, 2025 in Astana. The exhibition features two vehicles from the latest line-up – KAMAZ-54902 and KAMAZ-65659 tractor units.

KAMAZ-54902 tractor unit (4x2) is a transport tractor with a new compact cabin. It is designed for regional transportation over relatively short distances. KAMAZ-54902 is equipped with a 2.3 m wide cabin with a low roof and one berth. It received KAMAZ-689.510 engine capacity of 390 HP coupled with 12-speed robotized gear box.

KAMAZ-65659 (6x2) is a three–axle version of KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit. A special feature of this vehicle is the presence of an additional lifting axle, which increases the total weight of the road train to 44 tons without violating the law in the field of weight limitation. Like the flagship of the K5 line, KAMAZ–54901, this vehicle is equipped with a wide, high cabin with a flat floor, 482-HP engine, 12-speed robotized gear box and is designed to work with various semi-trailers height of 1,150-1,170 mm. The service interval of up to 120,000 km and the tractor unit life of up to 1.2 million km distinguish this model from competitors.
