KAMAZ, together with its authorized partner, NPO Transmaster plant (Miass), launched a new model of tanker based on the heavy-duty all-wheel drive KAMAZ-65959 chassis of the K5 generation (6x6.1).
The novelty has been developed in compliance with the strictest requirements for safety, reliability and ergonomics when working with dangerous goods in difficult road conditions. The vehicle has a load capacity of more than 18 tons and GVW of up to 65 tons, which makes it relevant for work in the oil and gas sector, as well as for providing fuel to remote industrial facilities and shift settlements.
The special purpose vehicle is based on the high–tech KAMAZ-65959 chassis, equipped with a modern KAMAZ R6 inline six-cylinder engine capacity of 483 HP and torque of 2,403 Nm, which guarantees uninterrupted operation at full load. The vehicle received 16-speed manual gear box. It is equipped with a K5 cabin on a 4-point spring suspension with a modern on-board information system and improved ergonomics of the driver's workplace. An automatic tire pumping function is also available.
