KAMAZ has released a container carrier based on the K5 generation chassis
KAMAZ, together with the Nizhny Novgorod plant manufacturing special purpose vehicles, Rustruck LLC, launched Russia's first container carrier on the KAMAZ-65658 chassis. The new special purpose vehicle based on the K5 generation chassis is a tool for container transportation.
The novelty is a compact and maneuverable solution for container logistics. The special purpose vehicle is designed to transport containers with dangerous goods and fully complies with the ADR requirements (vehicle categories FL and AT).
The high performance of the new container carrier is ensured by the balanced technical parameters of the KAMAZ-65658 base chassis. With overall dimensions of 9,040 × 2,550 × 3,480 mm, the vehicle has a load capacity of 20,000 kg, and its gross weight is 29,500 kg, which guarantees high efficiency of logistics operations. The vehicle is equipped with a reliable KAMAZ engine capacity of 390 HP, paired with 12-speed robotized gear box.
