KAMAZ has been re-assigned a ruAA credit rating, the outlook is stable

The Expert RA rating agency has confirmed the creditworthiness non–financial company rating to KAMAZ PTC at the ruAA level, the rating outlook is stable. The company's creditworthiness rating was assigned according to the consolidated audited IFRS statements of KAMAZ PTC.

The creditworthiness rating of KAMAZ PTC is due to a moderately strong assessment of the risk profile of the industry, strong market and competitive positions, an acceptable debt burden with a moderately low level of interest payment coverage, high liquidity, comfortable profitability and excellent corporate governance. As part of the rating assessment, the agency highlights a strong external factor of state support due to the strong systemic importance of KAMAZ, the dependence of the military-industrial complex sector on the work of the rating object, the high influence of KAMAZ PTC enterprises on social stability in Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as a strong degree of state influence.
