KAMAZ completes localization of stamped parts for K5 cabin

One of KAMAZ's large-scale projects, "Localization of Stamped Parts for K5 Cabin. Stage 2," has entered the final stretch. Existing equipment is being upgraded and new equipment is being purchased to mass-produce the latest generation of trucks at the Press and Stamping Plant, with the support of the Industrial Development Fund.

The Press and Stamping Plant began mastering the production of parts for the K5 generation vehicles with the cabin stamping and welding shop. This year's main focus is organizing the production of welded assemblies. In May, a high-power welding machine was commissioned in this shop. Its capacity is more than 50% higher than that of existing machines. It produces welded assemblies with large-diameter nuts and zinc-coated fasteners.
