On February 16, 2026, the day of assembly of the first KAMAZ truck on the assembly line, the automobile plant celebrated its 50th birthday. Dmitry Borodinov, Automobile Plant Director, summed up the work results and spoke about plans for the anniversary year.

There are currently 60 models and hundreds of vehicle modifications on the assembly lines. At the same time, new models have appeared in almost all families of the latest high-tech K5 generation. These are KAMAZ-54901, -65659 long-haul tractor units; KAMAZ-6595, -65951, -65952 dumpers; KAMAZ-65954, -65959, -65958 all-wheel drive heavy-duty trucks; KAMAZ-53251, -65658, -54902 carriers. According to Mr. Borodinov, work on mastering the production of new K5 generation models will continue this year. In the near future, it is planned to launch KAMAZ-53252 model – chassis for a refrigerator truck, KAMAZ-63934 – chassis for fire fighting vehicles, KAMAZ-65657 - chassis for dropside vehicles, as well as a new KAMAZ-65656 tractor unit.

Moreover, a project for the supply of long-base frames via the pushing overhead conveyor is currently in the final stage. It is being implemented jointly with the Press and Stamping Plant and the KAMAZ Engineering Center. Previously, frames up to 8 m long were supplied in this way, longer ones (up to 11 m) were delivered by road. During the corporate leave, the pushing overhead conveyor was modernized at the automobile plant and the Press and Stamping Plant. In particular, the reconstruction of the frame conveyor in eight sections was carried out at the automobile plant. Experimental runs are underway now.
