A delegation of Nizhny Novgorod Trucks visited KAMAZ PTC. During negotiations, agreements were reached on the bilateral supply of automotive components for the production of KAMAZ and Valdai trucks.

The delegation members got acquainted with the production of gear boxes at CF KAMA LLC and assembly lines for KAMAZ engines at KAMA DIESEL JSC. The business program also included a visit to an automobile plant and an axle factory, where the guests were shown the work of the cabin assembly line, the main assembly line, the crankcase workshop and the axle workshop.

After the introductory tour, negotiations on the prospects of cooperation took place. Two major Russian manufacturers will join their forces to implement import substitution projects. The vector of joint work is to ensure the production of trucks with Russian components.

According to the agreements reached, the parties jointly launched the process of agreeing on technical specification and preparing the first prototype of the vehicle with a KAMAZ component base in the second quarter of the current year.
